In a bizarre collaboration that challenges conventional predictions, the game developer has unveiled an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Questline Uncovered

According to the authorized announcement, "An unusual confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where hints of banned practices and fearsome changes echo through the obscurity." The storyline features a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a clandestine group.

The mission centers on "strange trials and a monstrous adversary" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Familiar Locations and Changes

The trailer features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview concludes with a dramatic scene showing a character, likely the captive, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Prizes and Additional Features

Players who accomplish the mission will acquire an exclusive katana in addition to multiple objects hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
