Cast member Cynthia Erivo immediately wrested the surprised star away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being escorted out of the gathering by event staff. Mr Wen stated on Instagram recently that he was "released after being detained", though court documents revealed that he was due to appear on the following morning. It is not clear if he was charged. History of Event Invasions This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Controversial Figure", has crashed a concert or event. His Instagram account contains videos of him disturbing other high-profile occasions, including jumping on stage at the artist's Sydney performance in June this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers concert in the area last year. "Steps should be implemented applied against him as this is evidently a legal violation," stated an Instagram commenter, in a response to a video Mr Wen posted of his behavior. "This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" another Instagram user wrote. Supporters Show Disapproval Over Grande's Safety Many supporters accused Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had discussed suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder after a suicide bomb attack at the end of her May 2017 show in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and wounding hundreds. "Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" wrote another comment on Instagram. Some supporters also faulted guards at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while different individuals requested social media platforms to ban Mr Wen's content. Aftermath and Premiere Information In clips shared widely, Grande looked surprised when she was approached by the individual. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed reassuring her while Mr Wen was removed by staff. Grande has not commented on the event, and the remaining proceedings carried on uninterrupted.
